Good Shepherd Sunday/World Vocations:

  Today is Good Shepherd Sunday and World Day of Vocations. We will take up a special collection for the Seminarian Education Fund (SEF). There are current-ly 26 seminarians studying in seminaries throughout the United States. The Dio-cese of Fort Worth provides nine years of education and formation for each semi-narian at an annual average cost of $52,092. Catholic Home Mission Appeal

Purposeful Living Retreat for Renewal

Annual Diocesan Appeal

Did you know tht the largest portion of the expenses for deacon formation and continuing education is paid with funds from the Annual Diocesan Appeal?  To date 76% of our $7,700  parish goal has  been committed by 112 of the 185 registered families.  We're just short $1,855.05.  Imagine the parishes, schools and ministries that could receive support if every family from our other of Mercy supported the Appeal at some level?  If you have not already done so, please prayerfully consider a gift to the Annual Diocesan Appeal.  You may pick up an envelope on the back table of the church, text ADA to 91999 or vist to donate securely now.  Thank you for returning a portion of your many blessings Contributing for the Common Good.

KPC Ladies' Florida Scholarship for High School Seniors

To qualify, the student must meet the following criteria. (1)Exemplify good moral character. (2)Devote time to church and community service (3)Exemplify exceptional leadership skills (4)Be a resident of Diocese of Fort Worth. (5)Meet the academic standards of 2.5 GPA or above and a minimum ACT score of 18 and/or SAT score of 800. (6) Submit an essay on how the scholarship will benefit them and the community (7)Submit two letters of recommendation from community members, teachers, counselors, employers, community representatives, priest, etc.  No letters will be accepted from the parent/guardian or from another  student. (8)Submit requested items and application to the Ladies Auxiliary in a timely manner.  Applications are available at entrance to the church or contact Carolyn Yusuf at 817.726.6726.  Deadline is May 1, 2018.
