Africa Solidarity Fund

Thank you for your generous support for the Solidarity Fund for the Church in Africa, last weekend. Your contributions will provide pastoral care and support of the people of Africa as they face the many challenges that come from poverty, unemployment, disease, and migration. Aggie Catholic Frosh Retreat

Overcomer Movie Opportunity

Are you and/or  your children  interested in seeing the premier of a new movie called "OVERCOMER". The movie is scheduled to hit the theatres August 22.  We as a parish  have a chance to see the Pre-Release beginning August 5. Lydia, theh parish secretary,  has viewed the movie and reports that  It’s a great movie for all ages. We must have a commitment of at least 126 to have the  theatre to ourselves. Suggested dates are  August 8, 9, 10, or possibly the 11. The goal is to attend before the children return to school. A tentative date of August 8 at 1 p.m. has been suggestged.    6 p.m. for those who have to work, is also an option. The Theatre is Cinemark Alliance, northbound I35 Heritage Trace Parkway exit. Tickets are $11. Please contact the parish office for more information or to reserve your tickets.

FundRaising Opportunity

An opportunity to raise money for your organizations is being offered by the TCU Concessions department. They are seeking nonprofit organizations, schools, troops, groups and churches who would like to participate during Football Season and other sporting events. They set a guaranteed minimum donation for each time your group is there‚ÄĒthat no matter how small or big the event is you will earn money for your organization. Last year they gave more than 200,000 to all the groups and churches who participated. They offer extra incentives, such as for being on time, being in full uniform and many others. Reverend Jerome LeDoux, S.V.D. February 26, 1930‚ÄĒJanuary 7, 2019

"God is love, and all who abide in love abide in God and God in them." (1 John 4:16)

Father Jerome LeDoux went on to be with Our Heavenly Father on January 6 at 9:05 p.m.  Father Paul Kahan, S.V.D. wrote: “We lost a good man, a caring and wonderful confrere.  Kindly keep each other in our prayers.  May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace.  Amen.
